Programmes
What we teach.
Five professional programmes, nine to fourteen months, taught in English in Valletta. Each ends with work that a practitioner in the field has read and challenged.

Investigative Journalism
For reporters who want to stop rewriting press releases: documents, sources, and a story that survives a lawyer.
Cultural Heritage Management
The unromantic work behind a monument: condition, funding, visitors, and the politics of what gets preserved.
Screenwriting for Series
Writing television that can actually be produced: rooms, budgets, notes, and a bible someone will read.
International Relations & Diplomacy
For people who will sit in the room: negotiation, drafting, and the difference between a communiqué and an agreement.
Editing & Publishing
Making a manuscript into a book that someone will buy, and doing it on a schedule that does not slip.
How a programme runs
- Small cohorts. Twelve to twenty students; nobody is a face in a lecture hall.
- Practitioner teaching. Every lead still works in the field they teach.
- Assessed by output. You pass by producing work, defended in person.
- Honest status. Aldermere issues a certificate of completion stating what was assessed. It is not a degree.
