The college
Fifty years of insisting on evidence.
Founded in 1974, still independent, still small, still teaching the work rather than the theory of it.
The college began as a reading room with a table and three tutors, teaching journalism to people who already had jobs. That inheritance shapes everything: evening teaching, small groups, and a suspicion of any module that cannot be examined by looking at what a student produced.
What we are
An independent college of arts and social sciences in Valletta, offering five professional programmes to about 740 students a year.
What we are not
A university. We do not award degrees, and we do not claim accreditation. What we issue is a certificate of completion that names the programme and the assessment completed.
Governance
A principal, a programme board, and two external members drawn from practice. Programme content is reviewed each year with the people who hire our graduates.
